Skyland Farm is a full-service hunter/jumper show facility located in the scenic hunt country of Middleburg, Virginia. Top training for horses and riders.

Skyland Farm, a full-service hunter/jumper training and sales facility, is owned and operated by Denice DeRisio Perry. Denice is a seasoned professional who has been in the horse show business her entire life. She specializes in teaching all ages and matching appropriate horses with riders and is a United States Hunter Jumper Association Level 1 Certified Trainer.

Congratulations to Mosie, Eleanor and Chloe on a successful weekend at Lexington National. The team camaraderie led by our dear barn mate Caitlin, made this weekend really special. Many great laughs and cheers. We also LOVE her photos!

Skyland celebrated a nostalgic and super Warrenton Pony show! We congratulate Chloe Welsh and Blue Label, Lily Scheurich and Shirzan as well as our dear friend and barn neighbor Lane Costa and Love Letters! They all were amazing and some top ribbons in the VHSA Equitation Finals as well.
Really fun and rewarding week!

Skyland celebrates a super show at Blue Rock. Some highlights include Skyland Farms Ollivander being awarded The Grand Green Pony championship with Eddyn Molden in the irons. Eddyn’s superior riding also piloted Madi Hitchen’s Haymans Sassafrass to the schooling pony reserve championship. Chloe Welsh was Reserve Champion in the Large children’s pony with Blue Label.
Equitation superstars where Eleanor Green, winning both the NHS medal as well as the Ushja jumping seat medal and Elise Hester winning the children’s pony medal.
Team Skyland had numerous wins and great ribbons throughout the week.
Kudos also to Roberto, Orlando and Chloe Welsh ( she even shined her boots!) and Blue Label for being awarded Best Turned Out.
The Hitchen sisters, Madi and Elaina rocked it too with amazing ponies, Hayman’s Sassafrass, Sunrise and Brookeside Rendevoux.
Chiara Parlagreco and Meghan Finlay’s super jumper Sofia Car, were 1rst and 2nd in the two jumper classes they contested as well!

A tricolor and blue ribbons Wef 12. Thank you Emi Richard for the wonderful rides you gave Ollivander throughout the circuit. Also, our silent supporter Roy and Huckleberry for coming to cheer Michele and Biaggi on!
Skyland would also like to thank our wonderful grooms Roberto and Francisco for making this circuit successful and enjoyable.

Skyland celebrates a successful Wef 10 and 11. We showed limitedly but with success with some new and existing combinations. We look forward to our final week Wef 12 but will be sad to leave this amazing show circuit.
We congratulate Michele Trufant, Emi Richard and Ava Papez!

Skyland showed limitedly wef 7 but Ava Papez and her Hamilton won impressive prizes in the low childrens division, one of the largest divisions of the show. So proud of you Ava. Quite an accomplishment.
Looking forward to when Ava can come back next month.
