We are seeking a full time salaried professional hunt groom, beginning immediately. We hunt 3-5 times a week during the season and require a self-motivated individual, with experience in foxhunting, equine management and riding. The position offers competitive salary, private housing, and possible boarding. Job duties include, but are not limited to turn in/out, feeding, grooming, mucking, riding/tacking, lunging, pre/post hunt care (icing, wrapping, bandaging, first aid, injury management), clipping, pulling manes, braiding, driving trailer, attention to detail with keeping the barn neat and tidy. Hours vary depending on hunt schedule and time of year. Potential riding and hunt opportunities for the right individual.
