It's with a broken heart that we tell you guys that The great Playin Pep has passed away. He's been fine, healthy, and happy. Today when I got home from work, he had passed. It appeared to be sudden. It's an extreme shock, and has us absolutely heartbroken, we will lay him to rest tomorrow morning.
He was truly one of the last great horses, and the best I will ever throw a leg over.
Nobody could have been a better teacher for me, for Working Cow Horse, or taken better care of me in the show pen.
His sons and daughters have blessed us more than we can express. Those lucky ones of you out there who have sons and daughters know what we mean.
His 10 years with us have been happy ones, for him. He has always had his freedom, his buddies, and a full belly. We have no regrets. His passing comes as a shock but we will weather this storm together.
