It was recently brought to my attention by a follower that NYS law prohibits a business to be named an apothecary unless it is overseen by a licensed pharmacist. I was completely unaware of this law. But now that I know, I want to make sure that we are in compliance with all state and federal laws; this has prompted a change to our business name. NOTHING else is changing except for one ten letter word being swapped out for another. We are now Windswept Farm & Botanicals Windswept Farm & Botanicals . The word botanical means: of or relating to plants or plant life. I’m choosing to see this as a “happy accident” since it’s a better representation of what I do. As always, I’m so grateful for all of your support and it’s a great joy to be a part of your herbal wellness journeys! 💜✨🌿

We have been having an amazing summer and we’re not ready to let go yet! My goal this summer has been to spend as much time with my loves as possible; soaking up the sunshine and all of the magic that mother nature has to offer during this wonderful season of growth and utter beauty! The gardens and fields are absolutely gorgeous and bursting with life! I have been harvesting my organically homegrown medicinal herbs and flowers and making potent and effective, clean organic products for you. I will be at several Autumn markets, TBA. I am spending much less time on social media and my hours at the shop have been adjusted for summer. My online shop is on vacation for the summer, as I do not ship my products in the extreme heat. Please make note of my upcoming vacation dates. Watermelon ice cream and freshly picked homegrown raspberries!
1 medium watermelon cubed & frozen; 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (use sweetened condensed coconut milk for dairy free); 1/2 cup of heavy cream or half and half (optional); blend together in food processor or blender; transfer to freezer safe container; freeze 1 hour and enjoy with your favorite garnish!💜🌿✨🍉
