This is an amazing picture of one of our queen bees (can u find her?lol) surrounded by her attendants taken by Jane Robertson Treubig today at Art in the Park in Greenville. Al brought an observation hive. They were both representing the Catskill Mountain Beekeepers’ Club.

So we had a bear visit last night. We had a unoccupied honey super by the house (not inside the electric fence)on a bench that we left there for random bees to clean out. Well, it wasn’t there this morning. It was 200 feet from where it was in the woods. One of the frames picked out and that was 100 ft further in the woods, cleaned off. This box is fairly heavy. Bear got himself a little snack.
