In addition to the traditionals like McIntosh, Empire, Cortland, Honeycrisp, and Red Delicious; we also grow heirlooms and lesser known varieties like Northern Spy, Keepsake, Spitzenburg, Russet, Vermont Gold, Rhode Island Gree

ning, Newtown Pippin, Jonathan, Winesap, and many others. Find a new favorite apple today! We also sell our beloved cider donuts made fresh everyday, as well as apple cider pressed here at the orchard, and a variety of produce from local growers. In September and October, you and your family can pick your own apples! It's fun for all ages and a great fall tradition. Yesterday we sold so many pumpkins that we didn’t have enough to fulfill a promise so last night after closing the store I made the trek over to our friends at Newmont Farm. LLC. in Fairlee VT to get the pumpkins we needed. The trip was treacherous over the mountains but by 10pm 30 35-40lb carving pumpkins were delivered to the Parent Child Center of Rutland County. Today those pumpkins will bring smiles to young faces. Happy Halloween Everyone!!! And thank you for supporting Happy Valley Orchard and days like this possible!!!!
