Summer has officially begun! We thought Ham and Scalloped Potatoes sounded like a delicious way to begin. Customers have been asking for French Onion Soup so we will be simmering a big pot in our rich beef bone broth with seven different members of the onion family including our own garlic and scapes! Chicken Pot Pie of course. Scone e of the week is Mixed Berry along with all your favorite breads and sweets. Fresh! Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells in our homemade family recipe sauce. Really fresh taste and would make a wonderful meal under the stars with a Stone Hollow Farm French loaf. Minestrone Soup is also a lovely choice. This Zuppa Toscana is to die for. It's the process that makes it so good .Chef Jeanna browns the local Mild Italian Sausage from Rose Baker to add a deep flavor to the sautéed vegetables. Chicken Pot Pie and Beef and Stout Pot Pie. Above the roof tops, next to the railway, this view greets me. Sometimes in fall with dark forbidding clouds, yet today with blue sky. The mill is the tallest point in Middleport. I will miss this when we move to White Pines.
