Happy Wintry Sunday, everyone! We hope you are doing well and staying warm!

While we miss our Shaq greatly, we are thankful
for our new stallion.

Introducing our new stallion, Pepper!
(Isn’t his name fitting for his color? We will post papers of his bloodlines after the holidays!)

Pepper will be 3 years old.
He is friendly and well-mannered. We have so enjoyed his presence here on the farm! He has been a welcome addition.

***We are looking forward to his first foals to be born in 2022!***

As always, we thank you for your patronage, and wish you the best during the holiday season.

Continue watching our page for more updates! Take care for now,

Happy Fall, y’all!
Early morning sunrises at the farm are quite breathtaking, aren’t they?

Accompanying the fall season is one of the most bittersweet seasons for us here at Southwind Farms-weaning season!

Our foals are heading to their new homes! While it’s sad to see them go, it is exciting to think of all that’s in store for their futures!

First, we would like to thank you, our customers. Without you, it wouldn’t be possible to do what we love!

We also would like to thank the following businesses who have given us the resources we need for our farm to run smoothly (our sincerest apologies in advance if we neglected to mention anyone) :

Perry Veterinary Clinic
Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales, Inc.
W.H. Rhinehart Inc.
Upstate Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Reisdorf Bros., Inc.

There have been some inquiries, and to respond, we aren’t accepting deposits on next years foals.

There are also no more foals out of Chance, unfortunately.

We have some decisions to make regarding foals out of Shack.

Please continue to watch our page for updates! And as always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or comments you may have.

Take care for now!

R.I.P. Shack
A Day in the Life at Southwind Farms 14105. Hello friends and followers. We are very sad to have to announce that our beloved Senior Blue Roan Stallion we call Shack (Krogman Krockett #5185922) passed away earlier this week. Our hearts are broken. He will always be remembered as my and Brian's best. His personality and gentleness, confirmation and consistency in breeding such high quality foals has become one of our trademarks. Although sad, life does go on and his life remains in part in this year's Foal crop and next years expected offspring. So if you have been holding back making a decision to purchase one of his - the time is now. There are three 2021 Foals ( Buttercup- Duke and Charlie) still available for purchase at this time. Their videos (along with Wilbur and Skoots who were Sired by our Dun we called Chance) were posted on our page this morning. Take a look, they are excellent. To contact us call Brian at 585-735-6206 or Darlene at 585-735-6311. So, Rest In Peace our beloved Shack. You will never be forgotten.
