From time to time, we take in lost/stray pets here on the homestead. This is our latest addition found on Saturday, August 5th at Yopp's C-store in Middleton. After spending most of the day there, she was extremely overheated so we brought her home to cool off and finally was able to get her to drink. She showed up wearing a collar with a torn/cut leash hanging from it. She is not chipped and so far, we've had no luck finding her owners. We will continue to hold/care for her until the 15th at which time she will be in search of a loving forever home if her owners can not be found. I've included a little about her below in case we do have to find her a new home. Please let us know if you would be interested.
She is very sweet and playful (she will jump on you with excitement). She is younger. My guess would be around 2 yrs old. Does well with men, women, and children. She is skiddish with cats (but to be fair, mine think it's fun to torture all the dogs). We have not introduced her to our dogs but I don't believe she would be an issue. She has not been introduced to any of our livestock. She walks pretty well on a leash and does great in a kennel. Unknown breed but we believe she is a shepherd mix.
