After some time away, I’m so excited to return to something that has always been close to my heart — cooking, sharing, and bringing people together through food! 👩🏽‍🍳✨

I’m bringing back my love for amazing Latin cuisine, a beautiful melting pot of flavors from the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. 🌎❤️

🥟 Empanadillas – Fried stuffed pastries
🥟 Empanadas – Savory stuffed pastries
🥟 Pastelillos – Crispy fried stuffed pastries
🥔 Rellenos de Papa – Stuffed potato balls

These delicious appetizers can be filled with seasoned meat, chicken, cheese, seafood, vegetables, and other delicious fillings.

One of the things I love most about Latin cuisine is that many of these foods are enjoyed throughout different countries, but each country and culture may call them by a different name. ❤️🌎 The name may change, but the love, tradition, flavor, and memories behind the food remain the same!

This is a celebration of our beautiful Latin melting pot — bringing together flavors and traditions from the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and beyond. 🌴🌎❤️

Never will go back I want to update my complaint regarding my experience with Valvoline in Middletown.

After my previous visit, I decided to give them another chance because the manager told me he would help resolve the issue. He ordered a replacement dipstick and assured me he would assist with installing it. While I was there, I also asked to have my A/C serviced. After the oil change and A/C service were completed, I paid $95 for the visit.

The manager then asked me to pull my car over so he could try to remove the broken dipstick that his team had broken during my previous service. After trying, he admitted he could not remove it. Instead of taking responsibility, he told me to take my car to my mechanic. He then stated that he could not say that his team had broken the dipstick.

I told him that was simply not true. The dipstick was broken while my vehicle was in their care, and I believe Valvoline should be responsible for the cost of repairing the damage. The manager refused, stating that neither he nor the company would pay for the repair and that he had “done all he could.”

I then took my car to my mechanic, who explained that removing the broken dipstick is a labor-intensive job requiring several components to be removed. I was quoted $129 per hour for the repair. This is an expense I should not have to pay because the damage occurred while my vehicle was being serviced by Valvoline.

I am extremely disappointed. I chose to give this location another opportunity because I wanted to support a business in our community. Instead, I paid for another service, my original problem remains unresolved, and I am now being left with an expensive repair bill for damage that occurred while my car was in their care.

Customers trust service centers to perform routine maintenance without causing additional damage. When mistakes happen, businesses should take responsibility and make things right—not deny responsibility and leave the customer to pay for the consequences.

I hope Valvoline reviews this situation, improves employee training and management, and takes accountability when customers’ vehicles are damaged during service. No customer should have to go through this experience.
