Happy National Forage Week! 🌾

For generations, growing forages has been at the heart of our farm. The hay we harvest does more than feed our own cattle, it also is part of it others horses, goats, and cattle’s diets on farms throughout our community.

While our farm has evolved over the years, one thing has remained constant: the importance of healthy fields and quality forages. Hay production is not just a seasonal task, it is a significant part of our farm business and a tradition we are proud to continue.

To our amazing regular shoppers—we CANNOT wait to welcome you back this week, and to those visiting our market for the first time—welcome to Brunswick!

After spending April and May at our temporary location, this Friday marks our return to the Martins Creek Municipal Parking Lot. Well, sort of...

This week, we're teaming up with Brunswick's Pride in the Park. Along with the Farmers Market, these two side-by-side events will become one giant community event stretching all the way from City Hall to 1st Avenue! To accommodate the festivities, East Potomac Street will be closed beginning at 3 PM, so plan to park elsewhere and enjoy a short walk to the market.

Because a special event this big can't be squeezed into just three hours, we're extending market hours until 8 PM this week only.

From April through October, our market is held in the Martins Creek Municipal Parking Lot on the second and last Friday of each month. Our Farmers Market vendors are farmers and artisans who live within 50 miles of the market and make or grow what they sell. They're your friends and neighbors, and while they depend on your support, they do what they do because they're passionate about it. In addition to local farmers and artisans, you'll find a food truck, live music, and plenty of reasons to spend your evening in downtown Brunswick.

Most vendors accept credit cards and digital payments, but if you need cash, there is a convenient ATM next to City Hall, just a short walk from the market.

So grab your reusable shopping bags, bring your friends, and join us for one of the biggest and most exciting market days of the season!
