❤️ We love the The Henny Penny Catering Company !

At Baconfest two questions were asked over and over.

What the heck is a profiterole? And are the flowers edible?

Well, a profiterole is a cream puff and yes, the flowers are edible. In fact, the flowers were sourced from two local farms right here in Lake County. Living Being Farms out of Middletown and Ganesha Gardens out of Kelseyville. Combined these farms came through with over 1000 tiny edible flowers to adorn our profiteroles.

We source as much of our produce locally as we can and these two farms never disappoint. Make sure you check their booths out at Middletown Farmers Market on Fridays!

🌱 That’s a Wrap on the CSA Season! 🌱

A huge THANK YOU to all our members for supporting Living Being Farms’ CSA this year! Your commitment to local, sustainable agriculture makes everything we do possible. From the fresh veggies to the community spirit, this season has been a wonderful journey.

But we’re not done yet! We’ll be at the Middletown Farmers Market every Friday until the last Friday in November. Come by and stock up on your favorites! 🫛🍅🍆

Did you know that we have the cutest indoor plants shop in Lake County?
Tammi has been a great supporter of our CSA deliveries.
Today’s delivery is more than just fresh produce; it’s a symbol of community and collaboration.
I ended up taking home some of her gorgeous plants, it definitely brightens my day!
