🍇 Harvest keeps rolling at Langtry.

This time, it’s Merlot making its way from the vineyard to the winery.

Freshly harvested fruit arrived at the crush pad ready for processing: the next step in its journey from vine to bottle. Harvest is one of the busiest times of year around the ranch, and one of our favorites. Every new load of grapes marks another piece of the 2026 vintage coming together.

Stay tuned as we continue to share a little of what happens behind the scenes during harvest in Guenoc Valley.

We’re excited to share that four Langtry wines have earned outstanding ratings from Wine Enthusiast, with each also recognized as a Hidden Gem in the August/September issue:

94 Points — 2022 Langtry Tephra Ridge Old Soldier Road Red Blend
93 Points — 2023 Langtry Genevieve Chardonnay
93 Points — 2022 Langtry Tephra Ridge Petit Verdot
92 Points — 2022 Langtry Tephra Ridge Merlot

From the high-elevation, volcanic soils of Tephra Ridge to our historic Guenoc Valley estate, these wines are a reflection of the place we’re fortunate to call home.

Wine Enthusiast's Tonya Pitts called the Old Soldier Road Red Blend a “classic expression of high-elevation, volcanic soil-sourced fruit,” awarding it an impressive 94 points.

We’ll raise a glass to that.

And just like that…harvest has begun at Langtry.

The first grapes of the season arrived at the winery this morning, officially kicking off another harvest in Guenoc Valley.

There’s something special about this first delivery; the early morning light, the bins rolling in, and the first fruit hitting the crush pad. It’s the moment months of work in the vineyard begin their next chapter in the cellar.

Here’s to Harvest 2026 and the wines that will come from it. 🍷
