For those not familiar with the Cutter Classic Saddle Blanket CO. Pads here is the information on them. These pads are truly amazing.

Merino wool fleece bottom, a heavy woven wool or canvas top, and an inner layer of compressible felt and antimicrobial hospital-bed padding.
Material Layers
Bottom Layer: 1-inch pure Merino wool fleece sits next to the horse. This wool has natural lanolin that resists absorbing sweat, and it is antibacterial and antifungal.
Top Layer: A heavy woven wool blanket (weighing 5 to 6.5 pounds) covers the pad. Everyday work pads use durable canvas instead of wool on top, and special models use woven alpaca fiber.
Middle Layer: A combination of soft felt and breathable, antimicrobial hospital-bed padding provides shock absorption and molds to the horse's back.Wear Leathers: Long wear leathers and corner plates are cut from soft, well-tanned boot leather to protect high-friction areas.
