It is FriYAY and we are doing a heavy harvest of everything, there will be a ton of delicious and beautiful organic produce for you to take home this weekend! Whether it is from Barryville Farmers’ Market , Chappaqua Farmers Market or the farmstand in Middletown (407 Ingrassia Road)—please come get it and say hi!

We are also expecting a frost next week, so if there is a summer veggie that brings you joy, please make sure to enjoy it this weekend! One of the pleasures of eating seasonally is the limited window and the anticipation, so I’m letting you know the summer window is about to end as we jump into fall!

Middletown, NY: our farmstand is full of luscious organic sweet corn, tomatoes, zucchini, onions, lettuce, carrots, and all other sorts of good stuff so that you can stay in and make yourself something delicious this weekend!

Come help yourself with our self serve Farm stand at 407 Ingrassia Road in Middletown, New York. Open seven days a week, from 7 AM to 7 PM. Check it out before it blows away this weekend. 😅

No Chappaqua Farmers Market tomorrow—though we usually show up in rain, WIND is dangerous when you’re depending on tents (kites 😅) to keep you dry. We thank them for making the hard decision to keep everyone safe.

If you’re a CSA member, please check your email for updates.

We’ll keep you updated on Barryville Farmers’ Market ☺️

Happy community day to our Chappaqua community! We love to see everybody come out to gather with neighbors and local businesses for some good times together!

We are also happy to be part of your community, so please come out early when there’s still lots of parking and load up on all of the good stuff September has to offer! ❤️

Crickets chirping, soft warm sunlight, cool wet dew, and the smell of dill while I cut quick luscious bunches with a sharp knife—morning harvests are one of my favorite things in September. ❤️

Sam picked a peck of purple peppers… new favorite photo. ( I always tell you guys if I can grow up purple vegetable, I will. 😅)

I realize the last thing I posted was a hornworm. It’s been busy around here! But I do love my heart vegetables, and there’s a lot of goodness and love going into everything coming to CSA, market, and Farm stand this weekend. See you there!

I think I ruined someone’s day at market when they asked for gardening help for hornworms. Cause how do I get rid of hornworms? I do not. These things make me ridiculously happy, and they’re a sign the plants looked good enough to lay eggs on. They’ll grow into an incredibly large and beautiful nocturnal moth and pollinator. Sometimes I’ll put all of the worms I find on one plant so I can check in on them.

Mostly I’m just thrilled to have beautiful new growth on these plants at the end of August. ❤️
