Every now and then we need a fun project around here. This is Azorean corn - a friend from gave us the seed and we are growing it out this year. We have just enough for a small plot; we’ll select the best ears and grow it out again next year. By Year 3 we may have enough for (cornbread). For the record, Michelle is of Azorean descent; Jim just wishes he were that lucky.

The countdown is on to our massive annual seedling sale - we’ll be there Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4, or until we run out of product!
