My house enters “survival mode” every spring while I’m outside emotionally attached to basil plants and checking tomatoes like they’re toddlers. 😂🍅

Welcome to the farm, Bella 🤍

Bella is here on a trial basis, and so far she seems to be settling in really well. The sheep and goats are getting more comfortable with her every day, and she would definitely love to have the chickens and ducks with her too. She already seems very protective of the animals.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that she works out. She has never been a full-time livestock guardian dog, only visiting farms before, but she truly seems to be enjoying farm life.

We were told Bella was a puppy mill mom, and DNA testing confirmed that she is a full Great Pyrenees. We’re excited to see her confidence grow and hopeful she’s finally found where she belongs.

Well that is an end of 16 years of having Nigerian goats on the farm. The last two adults moved out last night to a family that will love them so much, at least they are not two far and we will see them whenever we go on a walk (seen them this morning). They seem so happy with their new family, I am definitely going to miss the kids every year. We have two doe kids that will be going to our niece. This has definitely been a fun adventure for our family and I am so happy for the experiences our boys got to have because of them. That will be missed of the farm.

This is going to be an exciting change on the farm. We got two Dorper ewe sheep and two Barbados Blackbelly Ram lamb one will be wethered for meat and the others for breeding.

Added some ducks the our little farm, thinking about getting some sheep if anyone knows of some within an hr or two of Lake County, Ca.
