Love is in the air for sure. All the does are screaming. The bucks are peeing and stinky. God help me, I need to wait until next month. But I may not have the strength.

After very satisfying weeding sweat sessions.. it just adds an additional layer of satisfaction to watch the animals enjoy the weeds.

I’ve started locking up the horses on my days off during the day and letting the dogs and goats out in the big pasture. I noticed the dogs really needed to stretch their legs and the goats needed to get a handle on some weeds.

Two days in a row, I found Honor had jumped her way into the stall with Sundae and Prim.

I had separated them for a reason, because Honor used to chase the horses away from their hay feeders so she could sleep, or just out of the stalls in general. Though she regularly directs her negative energy towards Ty more. She still barks at him if he sticks his head out of her stall and she’s in her pen. God forbid he look at her.

But I have always noticed she’s got a different demeanor with Sundae. Is it because Sundae kicked her and now they have a mutual respect? But the patience she shows with Prim is even more amazing.

Oddly enough, she also barks at the Bucks if they are causing a ruckus or too close to the fence on occasion.

Honor must be a girls girl.

Thankfully after these videos were taken, she hasn’t jumped back in there again.

Next task of the evening! I’m trying a little “packaging” idea I saw online somewhere. Coffee filters that still allow airflow to encourage continued curing of the soaps, but also using something that isn’t plastic!
