It was a wonderful weekend announcing for a good cause at Hines Farm Park Saturday. Thanks for having us y’all! We even got to catch up with some friends in Jacksonville and Garden City!

We are just 21 days until the start of the 2023 NC State 4-H Horse Show!

Confirmation emails and show statements have been emailed to all participants that we have received entries.

Don't see a statement (list of classes, divisions, etc)? Check your Spam folder.
Still don't see a statement or confirmation message? Email [email protected]. We have had some entry envelopes that were returned to the sender and or lost in the mail.

Please, double-check your statement and make sure your entry information is correct! Also, if you signed up for Pleasure Pairs (class 80) verify with your Pleasure Pairs partner that they signed up- we currently have an odd number of entries which means someone doesn't have a partner! If that is you- let us know so we can get that fixed.

More detailed information, including stall assignments and the stall decorating contest entry form, will go out next week, so be sure to check your email!

We only have a couple lessons scheduled tomorrow. The ⛈️ held off for us and the footing in the outdoor is good.

1. Stella- registered name “Avoir La Vedette”, fondly shown under “Champagne Taste”. Approximately 16.1h 10 yr, mare. Seasoned 2’6”-3’3” hunter. Auto change, point and shoot, not for a beginner as she needs a light seat and hand. Lower to mid five purchase or mid four lease. Pics and video available.

2. Ms Phyllis- 16.1h, 10 yr, mare. Seasoned in shenanigans. Absolutely requires a confident and advanced rider that doesn’t mind riding every stride. Quirky and heavy. I thought she was going to be my personal hunter but she’s much more of an Eq/Jumper type in my opinion. On-site care lease, low four figure off site lease. Will only consider a sale to an extremely special home. This mare is special, and not in the good way 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ extremely athletic and talented, but comes with the quirky brain. Pics and video available.

3. River- around 14.3-15h, 21-ish yr old, mare. W/t/c, cross rails, and up to 2’. Not a packer! You have to sit up and steer this one! Partial, care lease, on-site only. This is one of my wonderful lesson honies who’s ready for her next gritty kid in my program. Leasee must remain in a routine lesson program and must follow program requirements for riding, care, showing, etc. I’m sure I can dig up some pics and videos from my lesson kids 🥰

4. Chalupa- 17h, appendix, mare. All around horse, has shown over fences, and has shown the circuit. On-site, care lease only.
