Adventure Hill Farms goal is for riders to take something away from each lesson, and to make it all fun. We have a fantastic family environment, located in Midland, Virginia. Our lessons give personalized attention to each rider. We provide both equitation, horsemanship and lifemanship in each lesson to help build your confidence and your horse's trust in you! Our group lessons are never more than
4 students at a time and all participants in a lesson ride at similar skill levels. Private lessons focus on specific needs of each individual. We offer instruction to riders of all ages and abilities, focusing on good horsemanship, solid basics, proper balance, and the relationship and communication between horse and rider and helping students form great partnerships with their horses on the ground and on their mount. Lessons are offered afternoons and early evenings. The times change with each season, but are flexible to accommodate most schedules. Lessons are offered Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. In the summer we have summer camps full of fun! Private lesson are offered to children with special needs. We provide lessons for children with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Attention Deficit Discord, social and behavioral needs as well as children with specific special education diagnosis. Emphasis is on specific needs of the child. Enjoy and learn all aspects of the horse world, from the basics of horsemanship, such as grooming and tacking, every day care like feeding and barn management.
