We were debating on making a post about this or not. Earlier this week we found that a large group of our cattle were gone. We did find a small group thanks to helpful neighbors/friends. However, we are still missing a large number. We have had the Houstons out on horseback, many people on foot, and even a plane looking. At this point there is no trace of the cattle. We have filed a police report. We ask if you have heard anything to please let us know.
For those that are waiting for us to call to go over cutting instructions, we will be calling today or tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

We are still selling freezer beef. We have been inactive due to having issues with our fb page. Moving forward we won't be using this page as much for sales. If we did not respond to a message, it was due to not being able to access it. Sorry for any delays or confusion. We can receive messages now, please feel free to send a new message so we can respond. Thank you for everyone's patience.

I wanted to make a post about updated pricing for the new year, and how we work things. Our price for 1/4, 1/2, or full is $3.00 per pound hanging weight plus processing. A hanging weight for a 1/2 can be about 375 pounds. Sometimes more or it can weigh less.
How we work is you contact us to let us know you would like to be on our list. We will call you when we need to go over processing instructions. (If you need to cancel your order it needs to be done at this point or before.) We then contact the processor and give them the information.The beef will be processed with a label that has your name on it. We will call you when it is time to pick up your freezer beef.
I hope this information helps anyone that hasn't ordered before!

Hello! We have three quarters that are available due to cancellations.These cattle are at the processor currently. If there is anyone that is on our list and is interested, please let us know ASAP. It will go to next in line after that.We are hoping to give the processor cutting instructions on Monday, and will be ready to be picked up by December 15th.

Our prices are still $2.60 per pound hanging weight for a 1/2 or a full cow. Plus processing.
$2.75 per pound hanging weight for a 1/4 plus processing.

As always, our cattle are raised on our farm and are not given any hormones.

Hello everyone! We had a customer back out of a full cow that is currently at the processor. We will be picking it up the beginning of February. It can be split into 1/4's or 1/2's.
( cost is $2.75 per pound hanging weight plus processing for a 1/4, $2.60 per pound hanging weight plus processing for a 1/2 or full cow. *Processing is about .65 cents per pound. It can vary. A half weighs about 300-350 pounds hanging weight. )

I have been receiving different questions about our cattle. Our cattle are started in the pasture, and finished with hay and some corn. They do not receive hormones.
We currently have some availability for February and March for 1/4 and 1/2.
We charge $2.60 per pound hanging weight plus processing for a 1/2 and $2.75 per pound hanging weight plus processing for a 1/4. A half has been weighing around 300-350 pounds. Send us a message if interested. Thank you!
