What a wonderful free event at BB Training Ranch, From 10:00 to 1:00 parents who had Autistic children we able to come in and pet, puppies, baby bunnies & ride horses, it was BB Training Ranch’s way to give back to the community and it was wonderful and from 1:00-4:00 general public came for the Easter egg hunt. The event was a success.

I understand that many of you were not aware of what was going on with me and why I’ve been absent from my ranch page and I apologize for that, long story short, I was hospitalized 10 days ago with AKF or AKI. Acute Kidney Failure. Below is a run down of what caused this whole ordeal.

Update:
Well I’m a free bird as of 10:00 last night
This is what pathology showed. Even though all this wasn’t specifically mentioned the timeline of sickness is in the period of time that all this occurred.

So this is the run down:
Biopsies showed a portion of my left kidney dead, but will heal and should be fine. All this occurred from months of illness starting with covid late February into March, then 3 months of shingles in my mouth, esophagus & chest in April- July, then severe anemia July - August, then being stung by “God knows what” twice in July, then emergency kidney stones & surgery that left me on the verge of sepsis in August, then kidneys gave up & failed. Sickness overload!!!!!
Now I just have to let kidneys heal, so I’ll be seeing my nephrologist for follow ups for about a month. I will have no dialysis and I have NO chronic kidney disease, cancer, nor autoimmune diseases but will have to be careful not to get dehydrated in hot weather from now on out. Doctor says this is the best news she can deliver! Even though my numbers are still in the kidney failure range, I will be continually monitored until my numbers reach .8, right now I’m at 5.22 and had been at a 9.23, so I have a ways to go, but things are going in thebright direction & I’m getting there.

I am now on the MEND!

Thank you for all the prayers! I cannot express how thankful I am, because this could have been a horrible outcome.

Things have been really crazy the first part of 2025, my sister was diagnosed with dementia and it has been very challenging for all of us, she spent 5 days in the hospital after having seizures was finally released, and things spiraled from there, she was admitted in to a facility in Madisonville where symptoms got worse, the facility & doctor agreed she needed a higher level of care but when they presented this to her husband he said NO, checked her out AMA and took her home, she is like a prisoner there while her husband leaves to go to work, we don’t have much contact with her now. I’d had 15 kids on the ground in 1 1/2 months so now a total of 32 goats, half of which need to go to auction, have 3 kittens being bottle fed and 5 Great Pyrenees puppies that Harper had about a week ago and hid til last night is very tiring and trying to keep alive even more tiring! So when I tell you things are HECTIC I do not mean it lightly! Zero turn is not running but hopefully will be fixed soon because grass is getting too high, fixin to release 24 chickens to run with the current fowl, just trying to keep all animals & myself alive in this heat and humidity is grueling.
Thank God I have no farmers markets right now, My plate runneth over🤦🏼‍♀️
I do have some nice kids on the ground if anyone is looking to buy, I will try hard to get back on here more often, but if I’m not you know why! Signing off for now!
