We had a massive wedding weekend and an unexpectedly difficult week - and this team just knows how to come through.

I am so grateful for Erin, who managed the kitchen like a champ, my mom, who did most of the decorating, Julie, who made something like 250 dessert shooters and who knows how many other desserts, Jess, who cranked out all the dozens of tarts and macarons, and of course Hannah, who held down the fort in the shop today while 3 of us ran around to get all 5 of these out the door.

We’ve done this volume in a weekend many times before, but not with a 3-week old baby at home and this small a team. Not my favorite thing to need to be away from the baby to do wedding set-ups this soon, but definitely sitting at the end of the day reminded of how lucky I am to have these people who make Gable House what it is.

Cider donut season is (ALMOST) here!

We’ve just opened up our website for pre-orders of cider donuts for Fridays and Saturdays in September and October. We will have donuts available for walk-in purchase of course, but if you want to ensure availability or have a larger event you want to order for, please pre-order! These are hard for us to keep on the shelf, so we highly encourage you to lock in your donuts if they are a must have for fall.

As always, made with local cider, all from scratch, and with a lovely blend of warm spices and lots of butter!

Order by the dozen, or by the platter.
