Yesterday was another busy, busy day here at the farm!! 😊🐮🥛🐮😊
Just like any other Monday, we fed/milked the cows, bottled a fresh batch of milk, (250 gallons to be exact!) and then we welcomed 225 Shikellamy 5th grade students to tour our farm! 😊🐮😊
This has now been our third year being a part of the Farm to Table Program with WellSpan Community Hospital!! This program educates students about healthy eating habits and directly introduces them to local farmers to not only tech them but also SHOW the students right where their food comes from!

My mom, dad and I met the students back in the fall where we visit the school to introduce ourselves and really dive into the 1️⃣3️⃣ essential nutrients found in an 8️⃣ oz glass of milk and what each vitamin does for their bodies!! The students then get to sample our milk AND get to meet a calf/cow at the school!! 🥛🐮🥛
Soo, yesterday was their big day to come visit us!!
It's so much fun to witness their excitement and their expressions when they visit the farm and see all of our cows up close and personal 🥰
It truly is an experience they will never forget! Seeing how much joy the cows bring to these kids brings so much joy to me!
I never am able to get many pictures but I was able to catch this sweet moment with my one special calves loving up on some of the kids ❤️🥰❤️
It might have been a long, long day but special days like yesterday are always worth it!!
Looking forward to having Milton's 5th graders here later this week to do it all over again!! ☺️
