Someone close to Staunton and/or the farm is best but will look at others if they are the right fit.

This role helps us move some of the best food in the area the last “mile” to the customer. It’s a key step in the supply chain of healing land and eating healthy food.

General Description

The Order Fulfillment Lead is responsible for managing freezer space, tracking inventory of all meats, and order packing. This includes all freezers on- and off-site as well as restocking the retail freezers in the sales building on the farm.

Specific Duties:
Order fulfillment- Hundreds of orders per week for different sales avenues.
Pulling UPS orders for staff to pack boxes for shipping nationwide.
Pulling wholesale orders as needed
Sort and count beef, pork, and poultry in the freezers for updated inventory.
Maintain organization of all products in all freezers
Restock retail freezers and refrigerator in the on farm store
Weekly meat pickup from our processor

Job Requirements:
The Order Fulfillment Lead must be physically fit, able to lift 75 pounds, and comfortable working in a freezer for multiple hours per day.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a mid size box truck on highway and around small spaces.
Must be positive and solution oriented. He or she must be a creative problem solver and familiar with logistics and product management.

Basic knowledge of retail operations is preferred. Must be able to work independently (alone) as well as cooperatively with a diverse and seasonally changing team.
