We offer watercolor paintings and Kate (the artist) is experienced with and skilled at capturing the life and nuances of a wide range of animals. If you’re beloved friend is a dog, cat, cow, parrot, lizard, fish, cougar, coyote, etc we’ve got you covered. 🙂
Sizes and prices:
9x12: $100
11x15: $125
12x18: $150
*add $35 per additional subject in painting. For example, if you want two dogs in a 9x12 painting, the base fee for the first dog is $75, plus $35 for the second dog, totaling $110. This is because the bulk of the labor is spent on faces, detailing life and personality. 🙂
Gift certificates are available (can be useful when gifting to a friend or family member who has lost a pet and you want them to pick their favorite picture when they’re ready, or you have no subtle way of asking for a picture and you don't have a clear one.) Gift certificates can be sent by mail or digitally and are non-refundable.
Framing available, just ask and we’ll discuss options! We use standard black frames with white matting for the 9x12 for an added $30. 11x15 = $35, 12x18 = $45 (why this size frame is so much more expensive is baffling). You can see some examples below!
Free drop off in the general Ypsilanti area (includes Ann Arbor, canton, Belleville, Milan, etc.) You’re welcome to pick up from any distance if the drive is worth it for you, and I am happy to meet up somewhere in between as long as it’s in my free drop-off radius. I’d consider driving a little further for drop off if you wanna toss a little gas money too. 🙂
Shipping is available! We haven't shipped since last holiday season, but it was usually around $6 in the US to ship an unframed 9x12 painting.
