Birth announcement!

We finally have a calf tonight! Momma looked like she was going to burst so glad this one finally decided to make an appearance. I’ll have better pics and a gender tomorrow.

Great news this morning at Best of the Best!

After an extended vacation at the neighbor’s place, Valentine is finally home! Much work has been done while he was away in hopes of keeping him home. As I finally found his escape route and it turns out he’s not a jumper he has been granted a stay of ex*****on! Today he is celebrated and we are hopeful that with continued family support he will recognize his need to stay home and care for his own herd! We are excited to have you back big fella! 😂😂

Well, Big Momma was just teasing us last night. We didn’t have a calf before we left this morning. I will be surprised if she doesn’t have it before we get back.

Making friends with the neighbor’s heifers as we try to bribe Valentine to come back home. This is a very friendly girl and enjoys being hand fed. Valentine continues to reside at the neighbor’s place despite everyone’s best efforts. Grateful for a gracious, patient neighbor. The cowboys are on hold for now while we try to settle everyone back down.
