Man, these heifers coming up for weaning this fall are no joke! They have all of the things: body structure and condition, maternal mothers with good udders and feet, a docile father with excellent maternal background, and some truly remarkable pedigrees.

There are already “discussions” happening about the “keeping pen.” One says it’s too small, the other says it’s just overcrowded. 🙄

Got a little upgrade this week! We traded our ArrowQuip 74 series without a vet cage for the same chute with the vet cage. We wanted the vet cage for the extra length since some of our cows are REALLY big. And it’s much easier for preg checks and embryo work. If you’re looking at buying a chute, a vet cage is definitely worth the upgrade!
