We finally (sort of) caught our breath after a wild July and had some time to reflect on the inaugural Downtown Miles City Art Walk.
Otium has always believed that Beauty is a gateway to a world greater than ourselves, an arrow that points us towards the True and the Good, fostering wonder in our minds and love in our hearts. Beauty brings people together in ways that have and will always matter and we hope to always be a part of that in
None of this Beauty would be possible without the artists. Their art is an amazing reflection of those individuals, their personalities, their souls. We appreciate you for the time you took to conceive pieces that fit the space, enhancing street corners, sidewalks and buildings throughout Miles City. Thank you for these oases of beauty.
Thanks to Kelsey Merritt and her merry band of helpers. They put in many, many, many hours of work and it was a pleasure to work with such an organized crew.
Thank you to Stolen Roan, Sam Hould, Mike Lavin, Wes Urbaniak, and The Lucky Valentines for the perfect soundtrack.
Thank you to Here We Dough, The Taco Shop, and Nana Mimi's for keeping our bellies full.
Thank you to the volunteers who engaged with kids and made it a special night for them.
Thank you Regan’s Plumbing and Heating for providing electricity and space for the musicians
Thank you to Sullivan’s Furniture for water, electricity, and sharing your sidewalk with us.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who showed up and made it a night to remember.
We can’t wait for next year!
