We were blessed enough to get rained out last weekend and couldn’t finish branding until today. True to form, I got ZERO pictures.

UPDATE: mare found

Unfortunately our girl Lena is not doing well and her prognosis is very poor, likely due to a uterine tear giving birth yesterday.

We are searching for a nurse mare for her foal. We are located in miles city but are willing to travel to get a healthy mom for him.

Replacement heifers to fresh pasture after a good rain over the weekend. Prayers that everyone catches some rain this week. 🙏🙏🙏

And we’re calving. First calf is out of a 15 year old 7013 daughter, having her 14th calf. That’s a 15 year old udder nursing it’s 14th calf. We trailed these cows 8 miles home last week and she was in the lead most of the way.

Bull sale is tomorrow at 1pm at the Miles City Livestock Center! Here’s a bull we sold to Cook’s a few years ago.

Our bred 3 yr old F1 cows that will sell in our bull sale Thursday. All home raised, one iron cows that have all raised a calf. Bred to angus bulls for late March-April calving. All bred in 2 cycles.
