Jacob was nominated because he works independently, regularly arrives early, and stays late to ensure the department tasks are completed. Most recently, he earned his DSS Drinking Water Certification from IDEM. When asked what he enjoys most about working at Maple Leaf Farms, Jacob shared, “I like being able to work with my hands and always learning new things!”

Yelkis was nominated for stepping up with a great attitude when we were short on several key employees for HOFO and making sure we got our fresh order out the door. When asked what she enjoys most about working at Maple Leaf Farms, Yelkis said, “I consider myself a very committed employee, and I truly enjoy working as part of a team.
