Hi, I’m Anya. 🤍
My baking journey started during the pandemic when I enrolled in a TESDA baking program as a scholar and received my very first oven and baking tools.
What began as curiosity quickly became a passion. I spent countless hours learning, practicing, and baking for my family, friends—especially my grandmother, who became one of my biggest inspirations.
A year later, I pursued formal pastry training at Apicius Culinary Arts & Hotel Management.
In 2023, I took a leap of faith and started ALABakeshop in the Philippines.
Today, ALABakeshop continues its journey in Connecticut, USA sharing Filipino desserts with both Filipino and non-Filipino communities across the Northeast.
What began with a small oven, a few baking tools, and a dream has grown into something I am incredibly grateful for today.
