Cinnamon Roll is always the one to get into things, if there are things to be gotten in to. She is our Shaun the Sheep, if you will. Despite opening up the back field for grazing, she decided the Alfahay was more delicious and noticed I left the fence a teeeensy bit open.

It's been a weird grass year, really droughty and bad grazing, I've complained a lot aboutthe lack of rain. Most of our sheep still look good, although a couple of the ewes are thinner than I'd like, especially the ones still nursing multiples. We opened up the 10 acre paddock for the sheep and horses, so all should be chonky coming into Fall.

One interesting thing about Shetlands is they "flock" less than other sheep, often there are sheep spread out just everywhere. But my sheep often hang out in family groups, shown here going back to the barn last night is Venus with her lambs from this year, also daughter Morning Star and grand daughter Potato.

Had to set up a little hospital corner, Snow Pea hurt her leg so she and her momma Primrose got moved over, little Oats had a bump under her eye that needed treatment so she went in there as well. Her little bump turned out to be a Bot Fly, it's healing up super but I'm absolutely traumatized.
