Question: Do you have a collection of fine china that you only bring out once a year, when special company comes?

Question: Do you have a beautiful outfit that you love, but that you only pull out for special occasions?

Question: Do you buy flowers for others, purely to see the joy on their faces, but never buy them for yourself?

If your answer to any of these questions is YES, then join the club. I'm cut out of the same cloth. I'll buy flowers, or something special, for a loved one, but will rarely (if ever) buy them for myself. But they bring me just as much joy as they do anybody else.

I'm on a mission, friends. A mission to let you know that it's okay to extend the same kindness to yourself that you so generously bestow on your friends and dear ones.

After all. You work hard. You're a good person. You deserve to feel the same joy that you freely give to others.

If you are ready to embrace more joy in your life, please consider purchasing a flower bouquet subscription from our farm. Pure joy in the shape of a series of bouquets, organically and locally grown. You can't do any better. Sure, buy one for a friend or for your mom, too. But give yourself permission to buy yourself one first.

THIS FRIDAY and SATURDAY will be your first chance to purchase a fresh peony bouquet from our tiny flower farm!

We started planting peony roots nearly 3 years ago, and this year the plants really surprised us by churning out the most gorgeous blooms!

Our farmstand will be stocked with peony bouquets tomorrow (Friday) after 9:00 a.m., and restocked on Saturday. These peonies are GORGEOUS and I cannot wait to share them!

So if you're out attending graduation parties, or visiting with friends, or going garage saling, or whatever, stop and pick up a bouquet or two!

ALSO: GIVEAWAY alert! To enter to win TWO peony bouquets, do the following:
1. LIKE and SHARE this post,
2. TAG a friend in the comments.

I'll choose a winner tomorrow! If it's you, you and your tagged friend will each win a peony bouquet! (Note: must be local enough to come out to our farm south of Milford to pick up!)

(There will be plastic cups and water in the stand for you, if you need to transport your bouquet.)

Thank you for supporting your small local businesses!

January is the perfect month to get excited about what you're going to plant in your garden this summer!

I'm ordering seeds, sowing seeds, and making plans for AMY'S PLANT SALE again this year.

This is a new pepper to me, and one that I'll be growing for myself (and for you!). I mean, don't you want to try one? The name alone dazzles: Purple Purfume Pepper!? Lovely!!

Save the date: Friday and Saturday, May 9th & 10th, and come out to our place to choose some unique herb, flower, and veg plants for your garden-growing pleasure. Listen to some great live music, snag a homemade donut or two, and hang out with new and old friends!

It'll be Mother's Day weekend as well, and we'll have plenty of fresh bouquets and plants for Mom, as well!

Watch for more announcements and be sure to LIKE and FOLLOW this page. For plant lists and all the pertinent insider information, click over to our website and subscribe with your email!
