Hemingway wrote it into a novel. Steinbeck kept it close. The Jack Rose is a classic apple brandy cocktail, and it's even better made with brandy from apples grown on our own farm.

1 oz Shady Knoll Apple Brandy
3¾ oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz grenadine
Shake with ice, strain, and serve.

Taste the brandy on its own at our tasting room, then take a bottle home and mix your own.

We'll be pouring at the Hudson Valley W**e & Food Festival September 12-13 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Come taste the difference that grows from our own soil. Every apple in our Apple Brandy. Every grain in our Rye Wh***ey. We grow it. We ferment it. We double-distill it in our French pot still. We age it in new American oak. We finish it in used Portuguese Madeira and Port barrels.
