About Us:
Robert and Barbara Pearson with the help of their sons, Bob and John, daughter Cindy, John's wife Fran and their children Brittany and Cody assume full operational control and ownership, and have been running the farm for over 23 years. Prior to the purchase of the farm, Robert's parents, Oscar and Easter Pearson, started a milk processing plant in 1934, using milk from the neighboring
Fjellman Farm. The Pearsons' delivered milk to nearby communities and still continue to do so today as both the processing plant and milk route are still fully operational. The current milking facility built in 1930 is a traditional tie stall barn that houses 60 milking cows with a pipeline system and rotational grazing. Currently the farm consists of 300 acres of cropland. Stop by in December to pick out and cut your own locally grown Christmas tree and don't forget to grab a wreath made right here on the farm by Brittany. The first Sunday in December visit us for Millbury's Chain of Lights Festival- come visit the cows and see Santa as he arrives by tractor! In March and April stop by the store to get some freshly made maple syrup from trees right here in West Millbury. Bob carefully harvests and bottles it in beautiful decorative containers that make great gifts! Plus there's nothing better than sweet homemade maple syrup on freshly made pancakes or ice cream as Cody likes to do! During the summer moths visit our roadside vegetable stand that has the most delicious and sweetest sweet corn available in Worcester County and the freshest vegetables that are grown right here in Millbury, MA. until 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
