Dr. Joseph Specht, Dean of the School of Business at Georgia College until 1986, had the house moved to his farm and somewhat restored in the early 1980's. The house and farm are now lovingly maintained by Frank Specht, Joe's oldest son. Many friends and family members have gotten married, celebrated birthdays and other special events on the Specht farm in the last 30+ years.
