Opening day at Stoney always has surprises. A partridge flew through the kitchen window ( probably in the fall) and died on our Church Bench. I took pictures before and after new glass and hours of clean up.

Then we furred the entire ceiling with 1x2 to hold up the original ceiling, and give us a strong surface to screw a new ceiling to, hopefully soon, but at least it’s safe for now.

We then put up rolled insulation in the squared off hole, and put up matching thickness drywall.
