Each week features a unique theme! We believe learning should be fun — every visit is designed to spark curiosity and send you home with a little more farm knowledge than you came with.

Growing methods that maximize space are a vital part of our urban farm, and we’d love to show you why they can work in your space too.

Let us show you how to design, build, and grow in the space you have. Whether you have a small trellis on your porch or a long one that stretches through your yard, we've got you covered.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Homeschool on the Farm Fall 2026 Programs!

Join us for our new and updated programs:

🐑 Little Lambs (New!): A 1-hour "Parent & Me" program
Ages: 3-5.
Activities: kids engage in farm chores (e.g., feeding and brushing animals, weeding) and are given a brief lesson and a related hands-on activity, such as learning the plant life cycle and planting a seed to take home

🐝Busy Bees
Ages: 5–8 years (approximate)
Activities: Kids engage in farm chores (e.g., feeding and brushing animals, weeding) and have a short lesson with a related hands-on activity, such as learning the plant life cycle and planting a seed to take home.

👩🏾‍🌾Farmer in Training (FIT)
Ages: 8–12 years (approximate)
Activities: Lessons are detailed, focusing on specific farming practices (e.g., learning how to prune trees, followed by practicing the skill). Projects are structured to mirror real agricultural work and often span multiple weeks, requiring consistent effort and follow-through.

🧑‍🎓 The Apprenticeship (New!): A rigorous 4-hour program for older students (ages 13+). This class begins in February and is limited to 5 students.
Ages: 12 years and older
Activities: Examples of complex tasks include operating the tractor, designing and building farm infrastructure, or managing the orchard. Projects often span multiple weeks, requiring detailed planning and follow-through.

Opportunities & Financial Assistance
Teacher's Assistant: We have 4 tuition-exchange spots available for parents interested in serving as a teacher's assistant.

Financial Support: If your family is experiencing financial hardship or you have three or more children enrolling, please contact us privately to discuss flexible payment options.
