Sooo guess what?! We had a mix up with the pregnancy tests… I assumed it was like humans and required 2 lines.. turns out, it’s the opposite! Adrian and Willow are definitely pregnant and estimated to farrow THIS MONTH! Tank our large Hampshire boar that we recently rehomed will be the daddy to their piglets! We are expecting some good looking Hamps shortly! Willow was the first to get bred, she’s estimated to farrow around Father’s Day and it is her first ever litter!! Adrian is only a couple DAYS behind her, she’s a seasoned PRO. Black belted piglets incoming!! Oink!

We wanted to introduce our “new” breeders in our program Aurora & Bourbon. These gilts were kept back from Adrian’s litter from last September. These are by far our favorite daughters out of her so far. Of course, we kept Adrian’s TWIN. We are very excited to get these girls bred next winter to our new boar Banks🐷

‼️We are officially taking $250 NON-refundable deposits for EVERY half and whole hog‼️

**That deposit will go towards your total hog price to us** We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause for our regular customers, but we were completely blindsided when our butcher called us stating we had 2 people back out after the hogs were already dispatched and hanging this morning. After many months of communication, several messages sent within THIS month, even past WEEK, we still never got the common decency that they wanted to pass on their hogs. They waited until this morning when the hogs were dispatched and the butcher called to get their cut sheet orders. We scrambled for hours this morning looking for people to take place of our first customers, which luckily we were able to replace. But this is a major inconvenience for not only us as a small farm, but our butcher shop as well. Also, the butcher shop is its OWN PRICING. You pay us ONLY for OUR HOG. After, it’s your responsibility to pay YOUR OWN butcher fees. We can sometimes give you an “guestimate”, but it all depends on what YOU order from them. So again, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but this is what it has come to 🐖

A little peek on 12 of Lola’s gorgeous little buns 🥰 we did a switcharoo with 1 kit to Blanche so Lola has 12 and Blanche has 11. Instead of 13 and 10. Lola had to check and make sure I was taking good care of her babies from the other side of her wall of shame 😂

We did a check on the kits early this morning, and all are doing GREAT! Blanche seems to be doing a good job being a first time mama. She actually didn’t mind me peeking on her babies this morning 🖤
