Welcome to Holt Farm Millington, A Teaching Farm...
Holt Farm Millington is a Teaching Farm that blends the past with the future. We are rebuilding our fences new to bring in our organic grass fed beef and will also offer grain fed beef to those who want this type.Our chickens have plenty of roaming and scratching room that they need to give us plenty of farm fresh eggs. of Agriculture licensed processing plant which is on our farm, can process your own farm animals professionally and you are always guaranteed to get the same meat back from the same animal you bring. We are also establishing our flower business and on farm " General Farm Store". We will offer canned items and our vegetable produce, fruit and honey from our own farm hives. We are working toward offering internships to work and learn on our farm. we will also offer courses on growing flowers and herbs - raising honey bees - canning and possibly an internship in our butcher shop to learn that art as well. we have a full wood working shop and courses for this will be offer at certain times of the year. Growing Your Own Shiitake Mushroom Workshop

Saturday March 30th
10a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Learn to grow your own Shiitake Mushrooms. In this workshop not only will you inoculate your own log to take home, you will also learn what types of logs are best suited for growing mushrooms and the tools you need to inoculate them . You will have your own log to take home at the end of the workshop.
This workshop is $65.00 . Cash or Venmo. Call or text 901-485-1175 for more information. This will be an outdoor event so please dress accordingly.

It seems like everything that could get in the way of our planning for lunch did. But with God's help we made it -- not the way we planned, but we made it.
We are serving a spaghetti dinner for the community at 6:00.

It’s was a productive day on the farm. Worked in the greenhouse , started more Oyster mushrooms, cut all the flowers before the freeze and made low tunnels for the flowers already out of the ground! And we made bouquets for all the sisters for bible meeting tonight!
