BEEF BUNDLES WILL BE AVAILABLE WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH! I am posting some bundles, but you can also mix and match to make your own bundle. Your total must reach the $60 minimum to receive the 10% bundle discount. Please note, I am hesitant to post bundles until I know exactly how much I have of each item, but I know a lot of you are anxious for beef. So, orders will be first come, first serve with no holds. You will be passed over for the next order if you do not follow instructions for ordering.

This is our lean Texas Longhorn beef, raised in Millington. No hormones or preventive antibiotics are given. Humanely raised on pasture until the last 120 days where they are given a custom feed mix developed with our veterinarian and bovine nutritionist.

Big news - we now accept credit card payments! When you pick up your bundle you can just tap to pay (as long as your card has a chip). Alternatively, you can pay for your beef via a payment link we can send you. Other payment methods accepted are Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, check and of course, cash.

FREEZER BEEF INFO AND PRICING: We have the following dates available for butcher at Bernthal Packing:
January 12, 2026: SOLD OUT
February 2: 8 steers
March 23: 6 steers
May 4: 13 steers
These are all Texas Longhorn steers, raised locally in Millington, with 90% of their feed inputs grown on our own farm. These are fed corn and a pellet top-dressing. Despite being corn-fed, Longhorn beef is still extremely lean (even leaner than chicken breast), but still has the fat and marbling needed for flavor.
Price for 2026 is $4.50/lb. hanging weight. Processing is paid separately and directly to the butcher and will vary depending on your cuts, but will average $1-1.50/lb with fees and taxes. TO FIGURE OUT APPROXIMATE PRICE: A whole steer will weigh approximately 500 lbs, so multiply that by $4.50, a half around 250 lbs, and a quarter 125 lbs. So a quarter would cost around $563 (125 * $4.50 = $563).
Customers who have not previously ordered beef from us will need to place a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold their appointment. To place your order, please message or text (810) 869-0606. What? Labor Day Weekend already?!? I feel somewhat like this guy in one of my latest graphites, standing alert looking to fall. But seriously, where did this summer go? Maybe you've noticed I haven't posted much this summer. I purposefully unplugged and recharged. My studio is alive and well, and I am excited to show you what I've been working on and what's coming up this fall. But the time to reset and refresh was very good in many ways. I hope you get the chance to relax and unwind this weekend.
