The market manager hasn't been too good with posting on social media lately, but there seems to be a direct correlation to the amount of gorgeous produce. It turns out, that the more overflowing the baskets are with tomatoes, potatoes, and now apples, the less time she has to remind y'all of the goodness!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Simone, who was part of the Mills River Farm Market family from the very beginning.

For so many years, Simone was a familiar and loved face at our market, and her presence will be deeply missed by our vendors, volunteers, and customers. We are grateful for all the years she shared with our market and community.

Our hearts are with her husband, Paul, their daughters Lisa and Laura, and their entire family during this difficult time. ❤️

Field & Kitchen is a shared-use commercial kitchen where our vendors can safely prepare and process their value-added products in a space designed for food production. It gives small producers access to professional kitchen facilities without having to build a commercial kitchen of their own.
