It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Brittany’s beloved pup Milo “Pooka” Medina Cameron who crossed the rainbow bridge April 9, 2021. Milo was loved by many, he was free to roam the property, so he visited all the neighbors frequently and patrolled the property line to be sure it was free of any small rodents but also to let any predators know it was his territory. There wasn’t a day in the Spring or Summer that you didn’t see Milo nose to the ground, tail in the air and on the hunt. For such a small dog he made a huge impact on all those who knew him human and animal alike. He was our “farm dog” always tagging along to do chores and pester the goats if he got too bored. He was our constant, we knew everyday without fail Milo would be bounding through the pastures and setting the tone for the day. He was so full of love and energy! He was unique and can never be replaced. His passing has left a hole in his Momma’s heart, as well as everyone’s here at the farm. There are not words to express the heartbreak. Milo is woven into the very fabric of the farm and will never be forgotten. We have faith Milo is in a better place and will be there at the gates of heaven to greet his Momma by sniffing both ears and giving her a small kiss on the nose as he has always done.

We love and miss you Milo!

We would like to officially introduce all of you to the newest human kid born at home January 8th, Mr. Leopold Thatcher. We would also like to apologize for being MIA the last few months, we’ve been spending time with our family and surviving this insane winter we’ve had here in TX. Now that it’s spring we have some amazing things happening on the farm and are officially back at it!
