Mansell Hollow

Mansell Hollow Guy's paradise We moved here in 1991. The last humans to live on the property were Indians. Just before us was cattle. A catfish pond was built and well stocked.

The river was a steep drop and fenced so the cows could not get to it. Much work was put into clearing the mesquite trees and building a road that allowed for passage to the road even when it rained. Many truckloads of sand were moved off the property so we could enjoy the gentle slope to the river's edge we have today. Those fish are like pets and will say hello without getting fed. ed many hours sitting at the bank of this pond talking to his "boys". Trees of all kinds have been planted. Guy has a green thumb and has done everything he could to make each planting successful. The place has been home for our darling Jazmyne as she grew up playing and running wild with her friends. This is definitely Guy's paradise.
