Updates...
After two weeks of a successful soft launch to get the kitchen humming, we are thrilled to announce that this week is the 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 of Murph's Kitchen at our Strange Roots Millvale taproom!
We could not be more excited to welcome Les Murphy as he officially takes over our kitchen space to launch a brand new culinary concept. If you know the Pittsburgh food scene, you already know exactly who he is. For the past 12 years, Les was the Executive Chef over at Bigham Tavern, where he spent over a decade building an incredible legacy (and a literal family) on Mt. Washington while turning out legendary, award-winning wings and some of the best pub grub in the city.
Now, Les is betting on himself, chasing his dream, and bringing his talents right here inside our taproom with the launch of Murph's Kitchen. We are honored that he chose Strange Roots for this kitchen takeover and his next chapter.
With the Grand Opening comes expanded hours and new specials:

Tuesday-Friday: 4:00-10:00PM (Yes, we are officially open every Tuesday now!)
Saturday: Noon-10:00PM
