Okay gardening friends. I literally can't decide.

Currently, we have just the black fabric down. My husband thinks I should leave it just exposed, says it will be easier to mitigate weeds and if we ever need to replace the fabric or do whatever.

I think woodchips look so nice, but they will be woodchips from fresh trees.

In your experience, are thick wood chips helpful? Pros and cons? I feel as, if we get it thick enough, it would help with the weeds better AND look nice? Tell me your thoughts because I am so contemplated right now. I can just sweep and it's good, but with mulch, idk!

Trellis my indeterminate tomatoes!

I didn't know how this was going to go, but man, this has been amazing and so easy this year so far!!!!

Normally I am terrible about paying attention to what kind of tomato plants I plant (determinate vs indeterminate). Last year was especially terrible. A mess.

This year I was determined to do something different. Well, I would say this experiment has turned into a forever way of doing indeterminate tomatoes!

My determinate tomatoes are in heavy duty, tall, wooden cages I built years ago.
