Hello! We are hosting our first Fall Pumpkin Festival on our little farm down here in Milton-Freewater (1/4 mile over the border, just 3 miles from Walmart on Hwy 339 (AKA Old Milton Highway). 85557 Hwy 339, Milton Freewater, OR 97862

It's on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 11am to 4 pm.

Come on down for pumpkins and winter squash, and get some fall and holiday shopping done too!

We'll have local handicraft artisans present for your shopping pleasure - come find those one-of-a-kind fall decor and Christmas gifts. We'll have yummy foods, hot chocolate or hot apple cider, and s'mores to make! And we have a variety of pumpkins and winter squash for decorating and baking with.

We've got rhubarb and eggs in abundance! Rhubarb is $2/lb. This shows a 5 lb. bundle which would be $10 each. Eggs are $4 per dozen, unwashed. Message to order. Our new little farm is located near The Oasis on Hwy 339 (Old Milton Hwy).

A lot has happened in the past year for our family. We sold our last home, and bought a small farm (just under 5 acres), across the border in MF, Oregon. We now have lots of chickens, and the boys are looking to sell eggs. Three Dollars per dozen, unwashed (unless you mention you would like them washed). Let us know if you'd like to be on our list of egg-buyers. We currently have 5-7 dozen available.

Folks, the boys sold out of blueberries today! Tomorrow, they'll be open to sell the four kinds of lemonade - from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

The boys are set up again at the corner of Wallula and Campbell: Blueberries - $3, and four delicious thirst-quenching flavors of lemonade from $1 to $2 depending on size and flavor. Come on by and support the boys' venture!

LEMONADE AND BLUEBERRIES!

WED. UPDATE: The boys will be open from 1-5pm today at the same location. They did sell out of blueberries, but will have homegrown cucumbers for sale along with the lemonade

UPDATE: planning to set up in the same location by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (16th), so come on by on your lunch break or as your running errands.

The Bergherm Boys Lemonade Stand is up and running this afternoon! They are set up at the corner of Campbell and Wallula just outside College Place.

They have a variety of lemonade flavors, with the added flavors all coming from local products:

Regular Lemonade
Blackberry Lemonade
Lavender Lemonade
Sour Cherry Lemonade

Blueberries, locally picked, are $3 for a pint.

The Bergherm Boys (consisting of Elijah and Henry this time) have the lemonade stand set up at Grandma and Grandpa's house today (1273 Wallula). We're all having a yard sale as well, from now until 4:00 p.m.

The boys have regular lemonade, blackberry lemonade (made with homegrown blackberries), brownies, onions, and homegrown cucumbers and rhubarb.

Bergherm Boys' Lemonade (and Onion) Stand is open today. We actually have the 🍋Lemonade Stand🍋 part of it up and running! And not just our regular lemonade. We also have our yummy 🍋Blackberry Lemonade🍋, made with local blackberries!

It's hot, and if you're out and about, stop by for a 12 oz or 16 oz cup of cold, refreshing lemonade. We're about 1/2 mile west of the Myra/Heritage roundabout - a quick stop for someone in the area.

Prices for lemonade:
Regular lemonade:

16 oz - $1.50

Blackberry Lemonade:

We're excited to have this new 'Open' sign to put out when the boys have the onion stand open. We currently have 10 lb bags in Medium and Jumbo onions, and 25 lb bags of the Jumbo.

We are open today! We'll be open until 4:00ish this afternoon. Elijah is manning the booth for most of today. Along with the jumbo Walla Walla Sweet Onions, we have some lavender bundles and sour cherries

Mom and Dad are helping with the booth this year - so hours will be more regular. Expect our little stand to be open most weekdays, with an occasional Sunday as well. Open until 6:30 today, Thursday, and Friday.

We have onions! Walla Walla Sweet Onions in Jumbo size. 5 # is $5.00, 10 # is $9.50, and 25 # is 22.00. The boys are on a camping trip for a couple days, so Mom is holding down the fort. No lemonade yet, but look for that to come in the near future. Head west from the roundabouts about a 1/2 mile. Cash or credit.

And somehow summer has started! The Bergherm Boys now have Walla Walla Sweet Onions available. They will be open Sunday thru Thursday this next week (June 25 - 29), from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with just the onions. Drop by 1975 Heritage Rd between Gose and the roundabout.

It's getting to be that season again! The Bergherm Boys will be participating in a fundraiser for Julianna, our pastor's daughter who has DIPG and is undergoing two different treatments. The treatments cost $17,000 and $15,000 each. The fundraiser will be on July 2 at the corner of Wallula and Campbell. There will be other vendors there as well, each one donating a part of their sales to Julianna. Please come join us. The Bergherm Boys are at the Rogers School Holiday Bazaar on Academy Way (at Hussey and Whitman in College Place) today from now until 3:30. They have three kinds of fudge: chocolate, pumpkin pie, and lavender. .50 each or 5 for $2.00. They also have birdseed ornaments for $2.00. They're helping our family earn money for a church-sponsored mission trip next winter (2017). Over 45 other vendors at the bazaar, so come on by for a great shopping experience.

This weather! It looks like the stand will be only open on Wednesday this week, 3:00-5:30pm. There will be some excavation on Heritage in a couple days that won't allow for us to be open. So come by Wednesday! Onions, garlic, lemonade, and maybe a baked goodie or two.

Two varieties of garlic:
Inchelium - a Native American discovery indigenous to WA, buttery flavor, softneck.
Chamisal - a rare variety, brought to SW America by early Spanish settlers, hardneck.

Elijah's manning the stand himself this week. We still have onions, and lemonade, plus we have some homegrown garlic (inchelium variety said to have a buttery taste, native to Washington) for .50/large bulb, .25/small bulb. Open 3-5 today, Wednesday and Thursday.

Also have several tomato plants available - a couple heirloom varieties: German Pink and Nature's Riddle, and then Super Sweet 100s and Super Beefsteak. $3 each.

The Bergherm Boys have had over a week off from school now, unwinding before getting started on the stand. They're still not quite ready to get the lemonade pitchers out, but they'll have onions available soon. We will keep you posted!

Bergherm Boys Lemonade Stand is closed for the rest of the summer. With family vacation coming and just plumb wanting some down time before school starts, the boys are just gonna chill for a few weeks. The boys may open up for a gift bazaar this fall, so watch for the info. Then next summer, there'll be more lemonade, treats, and onions! We look forward to seeing you then.

Cedric is off to his week-long summer camp this week! Thanks to those of you who came by the stand to buy lemonade or onions, he paid for his portion of the fee! This week, the stand has been closed, except this Friday. On Friday, we're having a yard sale from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Elijah will have onions and lemonade for sale as well. Proceeds from the yard sale will benefit the Pine Ridge Mission.

It's a bright, hot day, but shade will come soon. The Bergherm Boys are all set up selling Walla Walla Sweets at The Dairy Express (Shell station) in College Place. Today, 100% of the profits will benefit the mission on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Our family is spending a week there this summer helping with a variety of projects. Open there until 4:00pm, so come on by!
