As Fall Weather is trying to decide whether to be warm or cold, we wanted to take this time to remind you that a cold can turn into phenomena quickly. Unfortunately there is a thing called “Silent Pneumonia” which can cause small almost unnoticeable symptoms if you’re not paying attention to your flock or show lambs. Note any small changes/ Sudden Changes and reach out to your vet before it becomes too late!

Fall lambing started and finished quickly for 2026. Stormi said hold my hay and let me show you what I got. 3 beautiful babies! 2 boys and 1 girl. Although they all decided to come at once and I had to undo there poor attempt at making it easy on mama and me. They are out and mama sure does love them.

Things do not go as planned, and sometimes you just have to roll with the punches. We took a chance on a ewe and learned a valuable lesson. Which only leaves us with one ewe to lamb. But enough sad news, we are currently on active baby watch! Stormi’s “safe” date to have her babies is this Sunday October 4th. Her due date is October 10th, what is everyone’s guess on when she will lamb?

Loaded and heading to the barn, these sweet girls are more than ready to be in the maturity ward. Stormi is bred to a registered Dorset and will be having Dorset Advantage lambs, Evie is bred to Apollo our( Stacked Deck x American Made) Ram. All Babies are spoken for.
