My niece Meredith and her husband Forrest are the most talented duo in Nashville. (Am I a biased uncle? Nah.)

Together they are Rosine. What an honor to experience my own private concert at Desperado Vineyard.

You can catch them performing at Sisters Folk Festival September 25-27.

Stay tuned for a future Rosine concert at the vineyard. These vines are babies and need their lullabies!

Two special events. One very good weekend in Wallowa County.

First up: our inaugural Tiny Pour Tasting & Concert on Friday, July 31 at Commons Coffee House The Commons Coffee House Lounge. We’re bringing together a guided tasting of five Open Soul wines, thoughtfully paired small bites, and an intimate acoustic performance by Jordan and Patrick Jones—all in a room of just 20 people.

Only two tickets remain for Tiny Pour, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the moment.

Then we’ll keep the wine flowing throughout OK Fest, OK Fest July 30–August 1 at the legendary OK Theatre in Enterprise. Find the Open Soul wine tent, enjoy three days of film, live music, and community, and raise a glass with us to one of our favorite weekends of the summer.

In April, Open Soul’s 2023 Pinot and Rosé were poured at Blair House for King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s visit — part of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

Yes, it really happened. But the reality is a tad overwhelming, so I’ve decided to cope by doing everything at Desperado Vineyard with my pinky in the air now.

Massive thanks to my friends Matty and James for choosing Open Soul for such an epic occasion.

Happy 4th, everyone. Party like it’s 1776. 🎆

Desperado Vineyard begins where the world ends.

Tucked into Oregon’s Imnaha Canyon — the most remote wine country in the PNW — Open Soul’s first estate vineyard is in the ground. 2,938 vines. 2 acres.

4 main varieties:
Grenache
Syrah
Chenin Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc
+8 experimental varieties
